This is the setup for a dual boot: Windows 10 and Linux Mint 19.1 Windows 10 is installed first, then Linux Mint added.

To get the Boot Menu when starting the Notebook it is necessary to make a change in the BIOS:

Enter into Bios by pressing F1 when booting up Notebook.

Go to:

Startup–> UEFI/Legacy Boot–> -UEFI/Legacy Boot Priority: [Legacy First]

Press F10 to Save and Exit.

To fix the high resolution (very small font) Login Window add the line below to:

sudo vi /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/70-linuxmint.conf

display-setup-script=xrandr --output eDP-1 --mode 1600x900
